skill-able Terms of Service
Last updated Oct 7, 2026
About these terms
These terms are the agreement between your organisation and us, Able Inc. By creating an account or using skill-able, your organisation agrees to them.
skill-able lets organisations decide which AI skills their teams can use, deliver those skills to AI tools, and keep a record of what changed and who changed it.
We've written these terms in plain English. If something is unclear, ask us and we'll explain.
Accounts
- skill-able is for businesses and other organisations, not for personal use.
- Your organisation's admins create accounts for their people. Each account is for one person only. Don't share logins.
- Your organisation is responsible for everything done through its accounts, and for removing people who should no longer have access.
- Keep your password safe. If you think an account has been compromised, tell us straight away.
Your content
Your skills and data stay yours. We don't claim ownership of anything you upload or create in skill-able.
You give us permission to store, copy and deliver your content only so we can run skill-able for you. We won't use it for anything else, and we won't sell it.
You're responsible for what you put into skill-able. Only upload content you have the right to use, and check that your skills do what you expect before you roll them out.
Fair use
Please don't use skill-able to:
- break the law or help anyone else break it
- upload malicious code, or skills designed to harm people or systems
- upload content you don't have the rights to
- try to get into accounts or data that aren't yours
- attack, overload or reverse-engineer the service
- resell skill-able without our written agreement
If you do, we may suspend or close your account. Where we can, we'll warn you first.
Activity logs and your data
skill-able records every action and change: who did it, what changed, and when. These logs are part of the service. They let your admins see exactly what your AI tools have access to.
Your admins can view and export your organisation's logs. How long we keep them may depend on your plan, and we'll tell you before we change that.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information. We keep your data secure and only share it with the providers we need to run skill-able, such as our hosting provider.
Other AI tools and public skills
skill-able delivers skills to AI tools made by other companies. We don't control those tools or how they behave. Your use of them is covered by their own terms.
Some skills may come from public sources on the internet. We don't write those skills and can't promise they are accurate or safe. Any reviews, audits or security checks we offer help you spot problems, but they won't catch everything. Your organisation decides which skills to approve.
Paying for skill-able
Paid plans are billed in advance at the price shown when you sign up. Fees don't include taxes. If a payment fails, we'll let you know and may pause your account until it's sorted.
We'll give you at least 30 days' notice before changing your price.
Ending your account
You can cancel at any time. Your plan runs until the end of the period you've paid for, and we don't give refunds for partial periods.
We can close your account if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, or if we stop running skill-able. If we stop the service, we'll give you at least 30 days' notice.
After your account closes, you'll have 30 days to export your skills and logs. After that, we delete them.
Our promises, and their limits
We'll work hard to keep skill-able running, secure and reliable. But no service is perfect, so we provide skill-able "as is" and can't promise it will always be available or error-free.
As far as the law allows:
- we're not responsible for indirect losses, such as lost profits, lost data or lost business
- our total responsibility to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the problem happened
Nothing in these terms limits responsibility that the law doesn't allow us to limit.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as skill-able grows. For important changes, we'll email your admins at least 30 days before they take effect. If you keep using skill-able after that, you accept the new terms.
The legal bits
These terms are governed by the laws of The Republic Of South Africa. If part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still applies.
